About Sid Farkus
Sid Farkus had a rough start but has never given up on people. Brought into a vet clinic dangerously underweight from sheer neglect, Sid was so hungry he’d resorted to eating objects like glass just to survive. Instead of giving up on him, caring staff reached out to rescue, and Sid finally got the chance he deserved. Sid is a young neutered male staffie/hound mix, now around 3–4 years old. Currently in foster, he’s busy making up for lost calories, gaining weight steadily, and living with both older kids and other dogs—he fits in just fine. His gentle, loving energy is obvious; Sid just wants to be part of a family and makes it easy to root for him. Sid needs adopters with experience handling dogs and a home with older children. He’s house trained, does well with other dogs, and charms everyone with his warmth and resilience. Sid hasn’t met cats yet, so his compatibility with them remains unknown. If you’re looking for a survivor with a giant heart who just wants to love and be loved, Sid Farkus is ready for his second chance. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
