About Maxie
Meet Maxie! Maxie is an 8 1/2-year-old female bully mix who thrives when she’s close to her people. She may not be a lap dog, but she insists on always being in reach—especially at bedtime. Don’t be surprised if you find her stealing your prime spot or your blankets. Maxie is an expert communicator, using her voice and some expressive huffs to let you know what she needs, whether it’s a trip outside or just playtime. She’s fully housebroken and prefers homes where crates are optional, and where the couch is always fair game for a good nap. At the vet, she can get anxious, but does well with a bit of pre-visit medication. Maxie is currently thriving on a sensitive stomach diet and responds well to Hills Science Diet. She’s happiest riding shotgun for a pup cup and is eager for a family to make memories with. Maxie does get along with other dogs and is good with children. She’s currently looking for a new home as an owner surrender with the help of Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue. Ready to meet Maxie? Your next adventure could start with her. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
