About Henry

Henry will soon arrive in Massachusetts, with his transport already covered. At about 3 years old and 30 lbs, this smaller mixed-breed pup came in as a stray carrying some battle scars—an old eye injury led to an enucleation, and he's wrapped up heartworm treatment. Despite a tough start, Henry is cheerful and full of life. He’s making solid progress with house training, is crate trained, and walks on a leash without drama. Henry does best with dog-savvy kids 10 or older and is friendly with other dogs. His foster describes him as a happy dog—always wagging, eager for attention, and quick to make up his own games if other pups don’t want to play. He enjoys time outdoors but is equally content winding down inside. Treats are a big motivator for Henry, and his sweet, resilient temperament makes him a solid family companion or adventure partner. He’s available for adoption in N Dartmouth starting April 24, and he’ll be ready for a fresh start and a committed home. Click apply to start the adoption process.
