Rudy
AvailableRudy is a large, young male German Shepherd Dog with a beautiful long coat, currently located with the Whiskers Fund. He is house trained and has been fully vetted — spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He does not get along with cats and prefers not to share his home with other male dogs, but he is good with children (with proper supervision given his size). Rudy is eager to find a loving home where he can be the focus of attention.
About Rudy
They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply? Located in Orland, ME and adoptable throughout Maine, Rudy is available for a loving local home, with a required meet and greet in person to ensure a perfect match. Rudy is a handsome two-year-old German Shepherd known for his playful spirit and his fondness for tennis balls. Raised with his sister on an acre of fenced yard, Rudy has enjoyed a life filled with running, exploring, and keeping an eye on the neighborhood horses. He is house trained and loves hands-on attention, seeking an adopter who can make him the center of their world. Rudy can be dog selective—he does best as the only male dog in the home, although his sister may be adopted with him if you are interested in a pair. He is not well suited for homes with cats due to his chasing instincts. Rudy gets along with children but, given his size, adult supervision is necessary around little ones to avoid accidental bumps. At approximately 95 pounds, Rudy needs a secure environment, and he’d thrive with someone who is ready to give him the special care and companionship he craves. Ready to fall in love?
