About Rudy
Rudy is a striking long-haired German Shepherd who knows how to fill a big space, both in the yard and in someone’s heart. At two years old, he’s house trained and loves tennis balls—the classic move is catching them in the yard and parading his prize. Rudy grew up with his sister, and she’s the only dog he consistently gets along with; he’s not a good match for male dogs and chases cats for sport. Supervision with small children is important as Rudy isn’t always aware of his size and could knock kids over in his enthusiasm. He’d do best in a home where he gets all the attention or as part of a duo if you want to adopt his sister, too. Rudy is looking for someone who values loyalty, wants an athletic and smart companion, and can provide daily structure, affection, and plenty of room to stretch his legs. He’s based in Soddy Daisy, TN, and comes to you neutered and fully vaccinated. Rudy needs to meet his adopter in person before heading home. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
