Dibs is a 4 month old male Great Pyr/Lab mix (just a guess) who was surrendered by his family because his size didn't match the living quarters of their home. This baby is doing well with housebreaking, and alerts you when he needs to go by whining, but will also sit by the door to let his foster know that he needs to go! He is crate trained, and when led to his crate by his foster, he will go in easily and settle for naptime. He is EXCELLENT on leash - no pulling or any other big behaviors that have been noted by his current foster. Dibs LOVES bones and hard chew toys, and while he also enjoys his stuffies, he's already a master at the "find the squeaker" game. He'll look at you with those irresistible puppy eyes (with stuffie-fluff hanging out of his mouth) and swear "It just exploded, Mom!," so opt for the stronger brands to keep that tummy safe! This not-so-little boy loves to play with his foster brother! As if he wasn't cute enough, his foster family shared that he is still learning how to run, so he does those adorable puppy hops, loses his balance, and will flop over like a big gangly goofball. You'll find yourself laughing nonstop at his silly puppy shenanigans! He also doesn't realize how big he is, he'll sit his fluffy butt right in your lap when seated - just another GIANT lap dog! Dibs is the cutest little (not-so-little) cuddlebug who just loves to snuggle his humans. When being introduced to new people, Dibs can be a little timid at first, but he just needs time and patience to warm up to new friends. He doesn't have an aggressive bone in his fluffy body; just a sweet boy with an initially shy loving demeaner. On a lazy weekend afternoon, Dibs enjoys lounging around with his foster family, and will also get his puppy energy out by playing with his foster dog siblings and toys.
