About Elizabeth
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Elizabeth is a delightful 2-year-old, 76-pound Great Pyrenees and Retriever mix who radiates warmth and love. Her start in life was tough—she arrived underweight with a thinning coat and clearly had been a mama many times over. Now, she's thriving and it's her time to have a wonderful life. Elizabeth prefers a calm home environment outside of the busy city, where she can relax in peace and enjoy the simple joys of open spaces. Elizabeth’s foster parent describes her as a gentle giant with a heart of gold. She insists on affection, nudging anyone nearby for extra pets, and enjoys relaxing with her loved ones when not exploring. Her energy is moderate to high—she loves running around the park, chasing squirrels, and exploring the world. Elizabeth is smart and communicative, nudging the leash or door when it’s time for a walk. Though she’s slowly adjusting to city life, she would thrive best in the suburbs with a spacious yard. This sweet girl is incredibly social with both people and other dogs, lighting up around canine playmates and always ready for a warm greeting from passersby. Elizabeth gets along well with children and is a big cuddle bug, though she can’t resist the occasional drink from the toilet or scavenging if garbage is accessible. Her new family should be ready for lots of snuggles, fun, and enrichment—she'll return the love tenfold. House trained and eager to please, Elizabeth is looking for a family that matches her affectionate spirit and active lifestyle. They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now!
