Meet Stitch! This 9-week-old, terrier mix is the goodest boy with a heart of gold. Sleek, black and tan like a teeny tiny Rottweiler, Stitch is excited to become your forever friend. He’s such a happy, silly puppy and has the cutest little wagging tail. He’s graduated from corn nibble kisses, to full blown smooches! Stitch loves playing outside with the bigger dogs, but prefers to lay on the dog cot with a bone, watching the house cats try to sneak out, and soaking up the sun. At night, he’s content to settle down next to you on the couch and loves to nap in your arms! With the warmer weather, he’s learning both puppy pads and outdoor potty training. Stitch’s favorite bedtime routine is snuggling into his dog bed in his pen with a plate of banana slices, cheerios, and some applesauce or pumpkin puree. This handsome boy is so smart, he’s already learned to sit on command for treats! Stitch is so ready to settle in and grow up in his forever home. Hurry in and don’t make him wait another day!! No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested. Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
