Meet Lilo! This confident, 9-week-old, terrier mix is a little explorer with a big personality. Sleek, black and tan like a teeny tiny Rottweiler, Lilo is already a pro at stealing hearts and your spot on the couch. She loves playing outside with the bigger dogs, racing around the yard, and chasing the tennis ball. After all her adventures, she loves to curl up on the couch for a cozy nap with you or lay on her dog bed and watch the cats snoozing in the sun. She’s learning both puppy pads and outdoor potty training and snoozes soundly in her pen all night. Her favorite treats are frozen concoctions of pumpkin, bananas, and carrot sticks. For a bedtime snack she loves a frozen stalk of celery. This sweet gal is so smart, she’s already learned to sit on command! Hurry up and come get this little darling - Lilo can’t wait to bring her playful spirit to your forever home! No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested. Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
