About Sandman
Sandman is a lovable, goofy tripod with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He settled right into home life during his foster stay, thriving with a cozy routine of naps, walks, chew toys, and plenty of affection. This smart, affectionate cuddle bug is both house trained and crate trained, and he’s picked up clever tricks like ringing a bell to go outside. He gets along well with other dogs, inviting them into playful games—especially tug-of-war, where he lets smaller dogs “win.” Sandman is highly motivated by food and toys, which makes training easy. He already knows “sit,” handles redirection like a champ, and is making great progress on the leash, especially with positive reinforcement and structure. He adores bath time, is tolerant with grooming, and seeks out attention and cuddles from his people. Sandman would do best in a home with older kids and would love a playful dog companion. At the end of the day, his silly antics are sure to make you laugh before he snuggles up beside you. He’s ready for an active, patient family who will help him keep growing into an amazing companion.
