Skipper is a four year boy who arrived at the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. He is adjusting to life at the shelter but is looking forward to finding another family of his own. Skipper is a little shy in the beginning but he quickly warms up and is extremely affectionate. Although he is a little large for a lap dog, he willingly settles in any open lap! He is easy to harness and enjoys his walks. Although he isn't quite sure what to do with thrown toys, he is working on learning to play fetch. According to his previous owner, he loves car rides and lived with other dogs. Skipper would make a wonderful addition to a family that is willing to continue his training and channel his energy into acceptable channels. The shelter has an appointment only policy.
