About Cowboy
Cowboy came into the shelter as a stray in Atlantic City at just 9 months old, but since moving to foster care, he’s completely come into his own. Nearing his first birthday, Cowboy is fully potty trained, knows a few key commands, and is picking up the rhythms of home life fast. He’s an eager, bright dog who knows how to keep things light with his goofy, lovable antics—he’ll have you laughing just about every day. He manages to balance a playful, energetic spirit with a love for snuggling that makes him the ultimate companion for someone looking for both fun and affection. Cowboy wants nothing more than to bond with people and be part of a family. His confidence continues to build, so a home willing to reinforce his training will be a great fit. He’s shown that he really enjoys being around other dogs—his favorite activities are romping with canine friends or curling up next to them. Ideally, another playful dog would be a bonus for Cowboy. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, making him ready for a smooth transition to his new home. If you’re looking for a well-rounded, funny, affectionate young dog, Cowboy could be just what you’re after. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
