Simba is a 2 year old girl who was surrendered when her owner felt he couldn't give her the attention she deserved. She is already a shelter favorite and is waiting for someone to take her home. Simba is an affectionate girl who loves people and craves petting and attention. She wears a perpetual grin and is always looking for adventure. While in the yard, Simba chases toys but hasn't realized she needs to return them! Given the chance, she will try to be a lap dog, but at 77 pounds, she is a bit big for that! Simba loves to go for walks and is daily improving her leash skills. According to her owner, she is crate trained and lived with children. Simba is also dog social - she did live with an older dog. Simba would make a wonderful addition for a family looking for a larger playmate. She will provide hours of fun, entertainment, and activity. The shelter has an appointment only policy.
