Jo Jo Heart Some dogs just stop you in your tracks... and Jo Jo Heart is one of them. This 1.5-year-old, 26 lb Australian Shepherd mix is absolutely stunning-with her soft, soulful eyes and delicate features, she has a quiet kind of beauty that you feel just as much as you see. But what makes her truly special isn't just how pretty she is... it's her heart. Jo Jo came from a rural Louisiana shelter, underweight and unsure, but still so incredibly gentle and sweet. Despite everything she's been through, she leans into kindness, soaking up love like she's been waiting her whole life for it. She does have some vision impairment, but you'd never know it by her spirit. It doesn't slow her down-it just makes her even more inspiring. She's learning, trusting, and finding her footing more each day. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
