Introducing Maverick!! Maverick is a gentle, sweet-natured boy with a big heart to match his big paws. Around 4-5 months old and weighing around 40 lbs and still growing, he’s one of the larger pups from his litter—but don’t let his size fool you, he’s a softie at heart. Maverick can be a little shy when meeting new people and may take a couple of days to fully warm up, but once he does, he becomes an incredibly affectionate companion who loves to stay close, soak up attention, and give plenty of kisses. He’s a smart pup who thrives on routine and is already picking up on his training beautifully. Maverick knows commands like “crate,” “outside,” “inside,” and “go potty,” and he’s mostly housetrained with continued progress. He sleeps through the night and is comfortable spending a few hours in his crate. Treat-motivated and eager to please, he enjoys learning and would do great with continued positive reinforcement. Maverick has a medium energy level and enjoys a nice balance of playtime and quiet relaxation. He loves toys and is perfectly happy lounging by your side once he feels safe and settled. He gets along well with other dogs—especially bigger ones—and would likely benefit from having a confident canine companion in his forever home to help show him the ropes. With a little patience and a lot of love, Maverick will blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who will stick by your side through it all. His ideal home is one that will embrace his gentle nature, celebrate his progress, and give him the secure, loving environment he’s been waiting for.
