Aurora has been at the sanctuary since she was a puppy, brought in with her mother and litter mates. She has never had a home or family to call her own so will need extra time to warm up and adapt. She gets along with other dogs but with her timid demeanor, multiple meet and greets with new housemates will be required to ensure they compliment each other and allow Aurora to feel supported, not overwhelmed. Aurora is currently getting to know the summer walking volunteers. She says if you bring her some hot dog treats she will take them gently from your hand. She is becoming more trusting of people, especially if you have treats. She has learned to touch your hand with her nose before getting a treat. She so much wants to be loved and with a little extra time she would be your very best friend!
