Bane is a young, large American Bully with a striking tricolor coat of brown, black, and white, and a short, low-maintenance coat. He’s neutered and fully vaccinated, so he’s ready for a new home. Living in Murphysboro, IL, Bane is house trained and brings that signature affectionate, friendly temperament you’d expect from his breed.

About Bane

Bane’s story started rough, but you would never know it from his happy-go-lucky personality now. Not long ago, Bane was found on the side of the road, emaciated and suffering from severe untreated mange. A Good Samaritan got him to safety, and after rest and care, he came back to life. Today, Bane is a solid 73 pounds of American Bully with a big head, a growing coat, and a goofy smile that lights up any room. He’s the type that wants to be your living weighted blanket and thrives on human connection. Bane genuinely loves meeting new people, embracing everyone as a friend despite his past. He gets along well with other dogs—big or small—and is respectful when they need space. He loves doggy daycare and roughhousing with his best canine pal. Cats are still a work in progress; Bane gets very excited and will chase if they run, so homes without cats are best. He’s fully house trained, does well in a crate, and has solid basic commands like sit. Bane handles leash walks well if the routine is calm, but he gets distracted in new situations and needs continued training for focus and recall. Inside, he’s relaxed and content to lounge on cool tile or play when the mood strikes. If you want a loyal, loving, silly companion who just wants to belong, Bane is waiting in Murphysboro, IL.
