Churchill has a personality that pulls you in—goofy, playful, and full of life. Found living in a church, he’s about 3 years old and built like a sturdy American Bully, with short hair and the look of an oversized panda bear. He’s got a healthy appetite (eats anything you offer) and a real love for tug toys and balls. Walks in the morning, playtime in the yard, and lounging by the window round out his favorite kind of day. While he knows the basics like sit, down, and stay, he’s still polishing his manners and leash skills. Churchill can get nervous with new experiences, but he adjusts quickly. He’s house trained, sleeps and hangs out in his crate when left alone, and loves stretching out on a soft bed or the couch when the family’s nearby. He enjoys people and wants to be close to his humans. He does get along with some dogs, especially those who tolerate his rough play style, but he’s still learning the right dog-dog etiquette and will need ongoing supervision. Cats, on the other hand, he would prefer to chase, so a cat-free home would be best. He’s spent time in foster with adults and college-age kids.
