COURTESY POST Meet Luna 🐾 Luna is a beautiful 5 year old Border Collie/German Shepherd mix (with strong Border Collie traits!) weighing about 45 lbs. She’s an active, intelligent girl who is looking for a home that can match her energy and give her the time, space, and attention she deserves. Luna absolutely loves to play fetch with her favorite chew toys is one of her favorite pastimes! She thrives outdoors and does especially well at off-leash dog parks, where she happily runs and plays with other socialized dogs for over an hour. This smart girl already knows several commands like sit, stay, come, down, back, wait, and even shake! She may need a little refresher in a new home, but she’s very food-motivated and eager to learn, making training a fun and rewarding experience. Luna enjoys going on walks, though she’ll benefit from a confident handler to help reinforce good leash manners. She’s affectionate, loves being petted, and is perfectly content during bath time. Because of her enthusiasm and tendency to jump when excited, Luna would do best in a home with older kids or teenagers who can handle her playful energy. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and in great health—including her teeth!
