Moxie is a 5-year-old, 50 lb mix breed who is deeply loyal and bonds very closely with her people. She loves to play, is highly food-motivated (which makes training enjoyable), and is both leash-trained and house-trained. She is spayed and fully up to date on all vaccinations. Moxie does well with smaller dogs and with larger dogs who have a calm or submissive temperament. She thrives in a structured, predictable environment. Moxie needs an adult-only home. She becomes stressed around young children and has exhibited resource guarding behaviors when feeling uncomfortable. For that reason, she must be placed in a home without children where her boundaries can be respected and she can feel secure.
