I'm Tinker and, of course, I know what it's like being quite a large dog. I know that sometimes, people think you're kind of scary just because you're big and brindle, even if they don't know you at all. Do I wish everybody would take the time to get to know me? Of course I do. I have so much love to offer and I'm really sorry that anyone should miss out on it out of fear. But I get it. I know I look a little intimidating. That's why I'm extra gentle. I know I'm not traditional "lap dog" size, but a girl can dream, can't she? All I really want in my life is to cuddle up with a human and take a nap in their arms. I'm incredibly cuddly. I'm a leaner, a burrower, and a hugger. And I'm an expert at turning strangers into friends. I came to the shelter as a stray and have just recently finished getting all the vet care I needed before I can be adopted. I'm healing nicely from my spay, but haven't gotten to meet any dog or cat playmates yet. If you have a dog, I'd love to meet them and see if we'd be a good match! So please don't be scared of me. It would rob us both of the opportunity to get to know each other! Come and meet me and I'm sure we'll be fast friends.
