About Meryl Streep
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Meryl Streep, the delightful one-and-a-half-year-old mastiff mix who won hearts at a recent CARE adoption event. From the very first car ride, she was the ideal travel companion, settling right in as a perfect backseat passenger. Meryl’s leash manners make every walk enjoyable, and amid the excitement of a bustling event, she greeted visitors of all ages with a sweet and gentle spirit. She was friendly to everyone she met and showed wonderful calmness as other dogs passed by. When she needed a break, she simply curled up and napped peacefully, unfazed by the noise and commotion around her. Once she recharged, she was back to enjoying the day with her foster sidekick. This special girl is gentle, happy, and ready to bring joy to a lucky family. Meryl has a mild eye condition called Cherry Eye, which will be addressed by the CARES clinic upon adoption, so her future adopter can focus exclusively on welcoming this treasure home. If you’re seeking a cherished companion, Meryl could be the perfect fit! She is available for meet-and-greets at the Center for Animal Rescue and Enrichment of St. Louis. Give her a chance to win your heart just as she has with all who know her. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
