About Red Rover
Red Rover came into the world on October 30, 2022, making him a spirited Scorpio—a sign known for both sensitivity and determination. This red heeler is playful yet reserved, particularly at first. He has a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia, so he won't fit a traditional working dog role, but what he wants most is a home where his mind and body stay engaged. Red Rover does best when paired with a confident, friendly dog who enjoys play wrestling—he's proven he adapts well to such company, no matter the other dog's size, as long as introductions are done right. Red can be shy in new situations, but his goofy side comes out as soon as he feels secure. Lately, climbing on the couch at his foster home has been his proudest accomplishment; it's his new comfort zone. One firm requirement: Red Rover cannot live with cats, but he would thrive with another social, steady dog in a home with a securely fenced yard. Older children who understand and respect his pace and needs would suit him best. Give this lovable, quirky heeler a shot at his forever family. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
