About Cadence
Cadence is a medium-to-large mixed breed known for her energetic personality. She weighs about 60 lbs and comes with quite the genetic mix—her DNA is 23% Rottweiler and 11% Pug. Cadence enjoys daily walks with her foster mom and would thrive in a home with an active individual or couple who can take her hiking and camping. She really comes alive when playing ball, though she prefers to keep the ball to herself. She gets along well with other dogs and has done fine with the cats in her foster home. New cats may be a bit of an adventure at first, but she usually figures them out. Cadence is friendly to most people, but she’s easily startled by the noise and unpredictability of younger children and may nip if she gets spooked; a home with kids over age 10 is preferred. She’s kennel trained but does well left loose in the home too. A fenced yard would be ideal, though a well-planned apartment setup could work if exercise needs are met. Give this lively girl plenty of activity, and she’ll make an enthusiastic companion—another dog in the home would be a nice bonus. Let’s make it official, apply to adopt!
