About Blossom
Blossom was born on February 15, 2022, and lost her original family when her owner died, leaving her and her siblings in a kennel. For a while, a neighbor would stop by just to feed them. Blossom is a small, adult Terrier mix (part Scottish Terrier, part Chihuahua) now learning what a home really means. Her foster mom calls her shy but deeply loving. Blossom prefers your lap to anywhere else, soaking up all the snuggles she can get. She’s friendly with other dogs and is already comfortable on a leash. Although house training is still a work in progress, she’s picking it up quickly in her foster home. Blossom needs another confident dog in the house to help build her certainty and show her daily routines. She is not suited for homes with cats. She’ll do best with adults or in households with children over age 5. Blossom is an Aquarius—known for a quirky but loyal streak, which shines through when she bonds closely to her favorite people. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.

Questions about Blossom
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Blossom, being a Scottish Terrier and Chihuahua mix, generally does well in homes with attentive owners who provide structure and companionship. Small breed mixes like her are comfortable in single-family homes, townhouses, or apartments as long as their social and exercise needs are met.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Blossom, as a small Terrier mix, doesn’t require a large yard but appreciates daily outings or walks. A secure, small to medium outdoor space is ideal, though regular walks suffice if you live in an apartment or home without a yard.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Blossom’s breed combination of Scottish Terrier and Chihuahua tends to do best in homes with adults or older children. Because of her shy nature, she is most comfortable in families with children aged 5 and older.
