About Blueberry And Grape
Tuxedo boys Blueberry and Grape are a pair of bonded brothers, about 2 years old, who are two of four cats found abandoned in a vacated apartment. (The other two, Elderberry and Plum, will be posted separately.) Naturally, they were terrified about the ordeal, but, once they figured out that they were safe in their foster home, their colorful natures emerged. Their foster mom describes their play as downright hilarious. They are all super playful and quite vocal-- they talk to humans and to each other as if they had their own language. They eat together, sleep together, play together, and even groom each other, all while being very social to the people in their foster family Like most cats, they would be happiest in an interactive household where they will get lots of play. We have not observed them with children or dogs, but we think they would probably do well with pretty much any kid or dog who knows how to treat a cat respectfully. Because they are a bonded pair, we will not consider adopting them separately. Blueberry and Grape are easy cats who would make a wonderful choice for a first-time adopter or experienced cat person alike. They have been neutered, are current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. Their adopter will receive their medical records. They're being fostered in Marblehead. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets, as well as in-person visits. There is a simple adoption process and a total adoption fee of $395 that helps us continue rescuing cats in need-- a bargain for a pair of new best friends who will be devoted companions for life. Cats can live past 20 years, so please consider whether you can commit to providing a safe, loving home for life before adopting. Please email Safercats11@gmail.com with your phone number and a little about yourself and the home you would provide. Doing so helps us match cats with the right adopters.
