Dan is all puppy enthusiasm. However, the world is also a scary place and people are still pretty scary too. He adores playing with the other dogs and will even entertain himself with toys. He is an avid squirrel chaser and loves being outside in general. Dan is very food motivated and loves being talked to but usually wont allow pets, yet. He listens to "go to bed" and runs to his pen, knowing he'll get a treat. Kennels are still scary, but the pen is safe. I have every belief that he will soon blossom into a mostly regular dog, but he might always be on the more timid side with new things and people. He is young and eager to learn, his people will just need to be patient. Because of how timid he is, he will not be placed in an apartment since leashing up for potty breaks would be too stressful.
