Dexter 3 1/2 years old 53 lbs Neutered Dexter is the sweetest, silliest, most handsome puppy! Dex has the softest floppy ears and squishy face, along with perfect puppy dog eyes! He has a great balance of little bursts of playful energy, and being very lazy and snuggly. He can be a little bit timid or startled by loud noises, but adjusts quickly once he’s given a little patience. It only took a few hours for him to settle into his foster home and show his amazing personality! He is a big fan of his foster family’s kids- ages 5-12, and loves to snuggle with them and give LOTS of licks. He does get a little concerned when he sees them roughhousing though, and wants to be sure everyone is okay.  He also has 2 doggy foster brothers that he gets along with amazingly. He likes to play and chase with the other dogs, and likes to be close to them. He definitely gains confidence from their routines! He’s met the cat in the foster home, and watched her walk by seemingly unfazed. He hasn’t had a lot of interaction with her, but seems that he would get along fine with a cat! He is great in the crate, potty trained, and truly a comedian! He loves to roll over and get belly scratches, but that also leads to him falling off the couch if he doesn’t pay enough attention! He also likes to walk or lay on the back of the couch, like he thinks he’s a cat him self. Dexter loves chewing a bone, playing with sticks, laying in the yard, and getting right into your lap for love. He loves his people and wants to be near you laying at your feet or just watching you do your work or chores.  He is working on learning to sit, walk nicely on a leash, and not to jump up when he gets excited, but he’s really just a great big silly puppy with the best of intentions and is eager to please!
