MEET CHRISTOPHER My name is Christopher! I'm a 1-2 year old shih-tzu mix and weigh about 20 lbs. I'm ready to win you over with my generous kisses and cuddles! My favorite thing is to sleep in my person's lap, and my 2nd favorite thing is treats. I'm looking for a new furever home because my first human could no longer care for me after a medical event. I walk well on a leash, and get along with other dogs and humans. I am house trained, but rely on routine and need a little encouragement to go potty before bed. My foster family thinks there's a good chance I could live with cats, too. I will do fine if left alone at home, though I will spend a lot of that time looking out the window and waiting for your return. I may even grab my harness and try to convince you to take me with you! I need a human who will help me build some confidence, groom me and have my hair cut regularly, manage my weight, and let me sleep on the couch and bed with them (this is non-negotiable!). I am neutered and up to date on my vaccines.
