Milton
AvailableMilton is a senior male Dachshund with a short red coat currently in Portland, OR. About Milton
Milton is an older Dachshund estimated to be around 8 to 10 years old. After being found as a stray with IVDD that left him dragging his back legs, he was transferred from a county shelter for further care. Milton has made remarkable progress—he's back on his feet and walking again. His recovery is ongoing, with the team focused on helping his back heal fully. He never lost bladder or bowel control and reliably waits until he's outside to go. Milton is slated for adoption in mid-May, after finishing up a thorough dental procedure. He gets along well with other dogs and is known for being gentle and friendly. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
