About Milton

Click apply to start the adoption process. Milton is estimated to be between 8-10 years old and is a charming Dachshund with a short, reddish coat. He came into rescue after being found as a stray, bravely overcoming back leg paralysis caused by IVDD, and is now able to walk again. His progress has been inspiring and he continues to receive care and therapy to further heal his back. Milton is scheduled for an extensive dental procedure and will be available for adoption in mid-May. Despite his previous mobility issues, he has maintained complete bladder and bowel control, showing excellent house manners by holding it until being taken outside. Until then, the rescue will continue to care for his needs and monitor his improvement. He will be an amazing companion for someone ready to open their home to a gentle, loving senior. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
