"Dogs love unconditionally and are the truest of friends." This reminds us of Dobie, who is ready to be your new best friend! He is two years old and weighs 69 pounds. Why we love him: Dobie is such a delightful dog and has such presence! He has the cutest doggy grin! He is a very enthusiastic companion on daily walks and is glad to help you get your daily exercise! Dobie would be a fine hiking and running buddy, too. He has a great time running and playing and frolicking in the fenced yard. Dobie absolutely loves the toys and we enjoy seeing him have such fun! Dobie is so agile and athletic, too. Dobie has a free spirited, happy-go-lucky personality that makes him a joy to be around! He is so friendly and affectionate and always ready for a pet and a cuddle. Dobie is very smart and should master any commands you wish to teach him. He has already learned to sit. Dobie has enjoyed being in play groups with his fellow shelter companions. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility. Dobie spent some time out of the shelter and the family reports: "As you can see Dobie loves the couch! Upside down, hanging off the back - the couch is his happy place! He is dog friendly and has even helped some of the dogs at the shelter come out of their shell. Dobie is house trained, sleeps well overnight and he greatly enjoyed his weekend get-away." He is going to be a great family dog and will be such a fun companion!
