About Henry

What are you waiting for? Apply today! “Dogs are small rays of light caught on earth for a short time to brighten our days.” That perfectly describes Henry! Henry is a spry 13-year-old terrier mix bursting with pep and weighing in at 36 pounds. His heartwarming smile and joyful spirit are sure to capture yours. Despite his senior status, Henry radiates energy and affection—he loves outdoor adventures and equally enjoys his role as a professional napper each evening. While he treasures the company of humans and thrives in a calm, loving environment, Henry prefers to be the only pet in the household and would do best as your one-and-only star. Henry recently charmed his foster home, where he proved he’s got the wisdom of a senior with the silliness of a young pup. If you're seeking a loyal, loving companion, Henry is ready to fill your home with happiness and laughter. He’s crate-trained, calm indoors, rides beautifully in the car, and adores treats which make training sessions easy and fun. Since he was neutered a bit later in life, he may mark his territory at first, but comes home with a supply of belly bands to help with the transition. Henry’s puppy-like “mouthiness” is all in good fun, as he’s mostly toothless—making his enthusiasm nothing but loveably harmless! If you want a gentle, exuberant sidekick to explore life with, Henry is ready to start his next adventure by your side for his golden years. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
