"Joy lives in a wagging tail." This makes us think of Luther! He is 11 months old and weighs 45 pounds. Why we love him: Luther is an absolute love! He is a sweet and happy-go-lucky young dog with such an endearing personality. His soft and silky black coat is perfect for petting, and his merry brown eyes reflect his zest for life. Luther has such an adorable doggy grin - it reminds us of the song "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life!" He prances happily at your side on daily walks and is such a fun companion! Luther also loves to run and play in the fenced yard. He bounds about in total joy and is so agile and athletic. He especially enjoys the toys. Luther is always ready for a pet and a cuddle and is so affectionate. We love spending time with him! Luther is a fine cuddle buddy! Luther is a bright dog who wants to please and should master any commands you want him to learn. He has already learned to sit. He has enjoyed meeting his fellow shelter companion Freddie in play groups. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility.
