About Wyatt

Meet Wyatt — a gentle little survivor with so much love to give. Wyatt is a 4-year-old Dachshund mix weighing about 21 pounds, and he came from the hoarding case where 36 dogs were living inside an RV camper with no running water, no electricity, and often very little food. The conditions were extremely stressful, and you can still see a little gray around Wyatt's face from the stress he lived through at such a young age. But despite everything he has been through, Wyatt is one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you will ever meet. Like so many of the dogs from this house, Wyatt is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and loving. He loves people, loves attention, and just wants to be close to someone who will love him. He is amazing around children and great with other dogs, very gentle and calm, and has a wonderful temperament. Wyatt is also very clean in his crate, very well behaved, and just an easy dog to have around. He is the kind of dog that will fit into almost any home and just be grateful to be loved. Wyatt is heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccines and preventions, and he has been neutered, so he is completely ready for his forever home. When you look at Wyatt, you're not just looking at a cute little dog — you're looking at a dog who survived a very hard life and still came out loving people and trusting humans. He truly deserves the best home imaginable, a soft bed, regular meals, and a family that will love him for the rest of his life. Wyatt has already survived the hard part of life — now he just needs someone to give him the beautiful life he always deserved. Please fill out an adoption application for this handsome boy. His $350 adoption fee covers medical care up to adoption to include vaccines, neuter, microchip, foster care and transportation from Louisiana to NY.
