Hi, I'm Tobey Maguire! I'm a gentle, relaxed 5-year-old Shih Tzu boy who weighs 16 pounds of pure cuddle. I love my people and get along well with my fur siblings. When you return home, rest assured I'll be ready with an excited wiggle butt and a happy yip or two! Favorite Things: More than anything, Tobey Maguire loves to be near his special person, either close by in his dog bed while they work or snuggled up with them on the couch at the end of the day. He can take or leave toys, much preferring to keep an eye on his person. He enjoys going outside to take in the sights and smells of the day, either in a fenced yard or leashed walks. Training & Manners: Tobey is house trained in his foster home where he is let out regularly. He has good basic house manners, walks well on a leash, and sleeps soundly in the people bed at night. He tolerates a car ride well. Health & Care: Tobey is neutered, heartworm negative, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. He'll just need monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog. This handsome guy will also need regular brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to look and feel his best. Other Animals: This laid-back little guy gets along well with other dogs but doesn't engage much. He doesn't have experience with cats but his foster family thinks he would be fine with them. Children: Tobey hasn't had any experience with children in his foster home. Ideal Home: Sweet Tobey would be fine in an apartment, condo, townhome or single home.
