Emma very recently came into rescue from a CA shelter. Emma is aged as 2 to 3 years old by the vet(could be younger), and is a bundle of energy! She often has a puppy-like curiosity, and loves to play with her plush toys… There is no thing as too many squeaky plush toys for Emma! She is a work in progress with her potty training, so Emma’s new family will need to continue working with her. She does typically do well using a pee pad and going outside when told to go potty. Emma loves other dogs, and would do best in a home that has another dog with similar energy. She also loves roaming around in the backyard, checking various areas in corners so a home with a secured yard is necessary. Due to Emma‘s energy level and sometimes rough play, a home with small children is not recommended. She is food aggressive and must eat in her crate to avoid any issues. Emma needs an active family who can help her with basic "puppy" training. She does tend to bark so a single family home is necessary. This sweet girl loves cuddles, loves belly rubs, and ear rubs, and is working on her basic commands. She sleeps in her crate in the evening.
