About Darcy
Darcy is a 17 lb, small Schnauzer/Poodle mix with a wiry, tri-colored coat. After her owner passed away, Darcy landed in rescue with her fur siblings and is now thriving in foster care with three other dogs. She quickly forms close bonds with her humans, especially women, and is happiest with company nearby. Darcy is housebroken, crate trained (though sheās been known to plot a crate escape), and does well on car rides. Sheāll sleep in the bed with you and sits quietly at restaurants. She enjoys other dogs and could do well solo as long as a human is home most of the day. While she hasnāt met young children, sheās likely to chase cats. Darcy needs a single family home with a secure, fenced yardāsheās crafty and will exploit any chance to slip out, so the fence must be tight with nothing to climb on nearby. Homes in Orange County are preferred. Expect some initial howling as Darcy settles in; sheāll need a little patience during her adjustment. Sheās spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and her adoption fee is $450. Fun fact: Darcyās birthday falls under Piscesāthe zodiacās sensitive soul. Ready to fall in love?
