Her journey began with hardship—after being hit by a car and left without medical care, she was eventually rescued in rough condition, suffering from severe hair loss and injuries that required the amputation of one of her legs. But Holly’s spirit proved stronger than her past. With love, care, and time, she made an incredible recovery—her fur has fully grown back into a rich, beautiful chocolate coat, and she embraces life with unstoppable joy. Despite having three legs, Holly doesn’t miss a beat. She’s playful, energetic, and proudly holds the title of “fetch queen.” When she’s not chasing a ball, she’s happiest curled up close, earning her reputation as a true snuggle bug. She also takes her role as an excellent backyard squirrel patrol very seriously, always on alert and ready to keep the yard critter-free. Holly’s gentle and loving personality shines in every interaction. She is wonderful with children and friendly with all adults, making her a perfect family companion. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and even happily coexists with the resident cat. She’s both crate trained and potty trained, making her an easy addition to any home. Because Holly is a tripod, she does best with moderate activity and doesn’t tolerate long walks, but she more than makes up for it with her enthusiasm for playtime and affection.
