Incarceration Date: 4/3/2026 Expected Release Date: 5/15/2026 Please note, dogs in the Freedom Tails program will be in training for up to 12 weeks. During that time, it is the goal for the dog to be able to pass either the AKC K9 Good Citizen test and certification, or the Puppy S.T.A.R. certification. You may schedule a meet/greet with the dog while it is still in the program. However, we request that final adoption not be completed until after they have finished their entire training. For questions, please reach out to us via email at: timbertailsk9@gmail.com ABOUT THIS DOG: McKenny (who her handler is calling "Mickey") is one of the girls from the "Capitol litter." Mom was found abandoned in Capitol forest, pregnant and hungry. Puppies were named after Capitol forest trails where mom was found. McKenny "Mickey" is the most confident of the whole litter. She goes head first with confidence into all her experiences. Full of energy and determination, this sweet and smart girl would be a great companion to a person for family that is up for adventure. Her handler in the FT program is helping her build solid foundational skills.
