A simple ball sends her zooming with joy, showing off her long, graceful legs like a puppy. Gretchen believes in taking her time to warm up—both to her humans and her fellow furry friends. But once she opens her heart, she claims you as her own! ❤️ This resilient girl has a backstory that will tug at your heartstrings. She was discovered tied to a pole on a freezing night in Aberdeen, holding vigil over her belongings—a tattered dog bed and a slipper—refusing to leave them behind. When animal control arrived, she hopped right into their vehicle as if saying, "I’m ready for a new life!" 🐶✨ Gretchen’s journey in the Freedom Tails program means she’ll be in training for up to 12 weeks to help her pass either the AKC K9 Good Citizen test or the Puppy S.T.A.R. certification, so she’ll be the best version of herself!
