Where no one knew how long he had been standing there, unable to move, unable to understand why he had been left behind. No food or water and no way to escape. No one coming back for him. Just waiting. Someone finally found him. Someone stopped. Someone cared enough to call the shelter about the "dreaded pitbull." The ACO arrived expecting the worst -only to discover this dog was simply the best. That should have been the moment his life changed forever. That should have been the end of his suffering.
