Sunflower is a little over a year old Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) about 40 lbs, with a bright, happy personality and energy to spare. She’s playful, outgoing, and always ready for her next adventure—whether that’s a long walk, a run, or playtime with her dog friends. She’s very people-oriented and absolutely loves meeting new friends. Sunflower isn’t shy at all—she greets everyone with enthusiasm and is currently working on keeping all four paws on the ground instead of jumping up in excitement. She’s eager to please and highly food motivated, which makes her a great candidate for continued training and learning new skills. Sunflower gets along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion to play with. She hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet. As a smart and active herding breed, she’ll do best with a family that can keep her both physically and mentally engaged.
