Dixie has also enjoyed the company of dogs and would do well with a respectful pup. One of her favorite ways to cuddle is draping herself over your shoulder on the couch while you wind down in the evening. There's nothing quite like the low rumble of a happy purr in you ear while you relax before you go to bed! Dixie is FIV+, while her sister Pixie is FIV-. She gets along well with other cats and can live with other FIV- cats. She is healthy, fully litterbox trained, and great with their scratching posts. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
