About Caldwell

Hi, I’m Caldwell—and I’ve been told I’m kind of unforgettable. I don’t mean to brag, but every person I meet seems to fall in love with me… I guess I just have that something special. I’m a super chill, easygoing guy who’s all about the simple things in life: attention, affection, and as much food as you’re willing to share. Seriously, if you’ve got pets to give or snacks to offer, I’m your best friend. I’ll happily soak up all the love and keep you company without asking for much in return. Other cats? Meh… I don’t really pay them any mind. I’m much more focused on my people. Because of my laid-back personality, I’d likely do just fine as your one-and-only or in a home where other cats respect my space. I started out as a friendly TNR, but it didn’t take long for everyone to realize I was meant for the indoor life. I’ve got a heart full of love and a personality that just draws people in. I am FIV+, but don’t let that scare you—it just means my immune system needs a little extra support. With regular vet care and a loving home, I can live a long, happy life just like any other cat. If you’re looking for a low-key, affectionate companion who will win you over instantly (and maybe convince you to hand over a few extra treats), I’m your guy. Love, Caldwell Caldwell is currently at our PetSmart location on Woodward. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
