Meet Mia, affectionately called Baby Reindeer, the curious, calm dreamer who moves with a quiet confidence and a knack for finding sunbeams. Her striking black and white coat, soft and low-shedding, matches her gentle spirit. Found as a stray in Georgia and now soaking up life in Wisconsin, Mia radiates resilience. She has limited vision—no sight in her right eye and just a bit in her left—yet it hardly slows her down; she confidently explores by scent and memory, learning new spaces quickly when given patience and kindness. Though her activity level is low to moderate, Mia stays busy following her small dog housemates, sniffing out squeaky toys, and choosing just the right spot for her next nap. She’s incredibly peaceful—rarely barks, only protesting if you’re late with dinner, and fits right in with cats, children, and calm adults. Mia’s also housebroken, leash-trained, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and clearly treat-motivated. Her favorite things include soft dog beds, lap time, spring weather, and anything with a squeaker. Mia knows her name and responds to gentle, food-motivated guidance. She doesn’t worry about much, adapting well even with limited vision. For a home with comfy laps, a calm vibe, and patient routines, Mia would make an outstanding, soulful companion.
