About Guinness

Guinness came to the rescue originally as a stray and, after being adopted and spending a couple years with his adopter, found himself returned when their situation changed. Now about 5–6 years old, Guinness is a laid-back guy who still has enough energy for playtime and enjoys a good romp. He’s particularly funny and clever—he has a knack for escaping his collar and can jump impressively high when the mood strikes. Guinness is loyal and sweet-natured, and he’s shown he gets along well with older children and most other dogs. He’s also house-trained and walks on leash, though he’s strong and would benefit from someone able to handle him out on walks. Guinness has a lot of love to give and would thrive with someone who appreciates a dog who is both chill and up for adventure. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
