Meet #Fiona… a quiet soul still learning the world is safe. Fiona is one of the sweet lives that came out of the devastating fire a few weeks ago… and while she made it to safety, her journey is far from over. Right now, she’s been settling into a loving foster home, and we are starting to learn who Fiona truly is. And what we’ve learned? She is gentle… she is quiet… and she is going to need someone very special. Fiona is: 3ish/ 50lbs Housetrained Crate trained Good with calm dog friends Living peacefully with cats But Fiona is also very shy. She’s not aggressive in any way ..just unsure, just learning, just trying to figure it all out at her own pace. She likely never had the chance to be properly socialized, and because of that, she may never be your “typical” outgoing dog… and that’s okay. What Fiona needs isn’t perfection ..she needs patience. She needs someone who understands that love doesn’t always look loud and wiggly… sometimes it looks like quiet trust built slowly over time. We are recommending: • A quieter home environment • A fenced-in yard (this will help her feel safe and secure) • Someone willing to give her the time and space to decompress • A commitment to regular grooming (we believe she may be a standard poodle mix, and coats like hers require upkeep ) Fiona may never run up to greet you at the door… But one day, she might choose to lay near you… follow you from room to room… or look at you with those soft eyes that finally say, “I trust you.” And for the right person… that will mean everything.
