About Sahara
Sahara is a 7-year-old affectionate and friendly calico with a big heart and an even bigger love for her people. She's the kind of companion who truly thrives on human connection. She loves curling up on your chest for pets, weaving between your legs for attention, and flopping dramatically onto her back to show off her cutest moves. Don't be surprised if her playful side comes out in the form of gentle paw taps or little love nips as she soaks up your affection. With a low-to-medium energy level, Sahara enjoys a balanced lifestyle. She'll happily engage in short bursts of play especially if there's a ribbon to bat at or a laser to chase, but she's just as content lounging nearby or retreating to a cozy, tucked-away spot for a peaceful nap. Quiet and observant, she's a wonderful match for a calm home that appreciates her laid-back nature. Sahara currently lives in a medium-sized apartment and would do best in a home where she can feel secure and not overwhelmed. She may enjoy the company of another calm pet, but she's selective with both cats and dogs and would be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. Her true priority is her humans, and she's quick to greet visitors with her friendly, affectionate demeanor. She does well with respectful children over 12 who understand her boundaries, as she can become defensive with overly forceful handling. New or unfamiliar noises may startle her at first, but with a little time and patience, she adjusts and settles back into her routine. If you're looking for a loving, loyal companion who will shower you with attention and companionship, Sahara might just be your perfect match. - - - - -- - - - There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
