Dotti
AvailableDotti is a six-year-old female calico with a short coat who lives in Victoria, MN. She has been spayed, is house trained, and her vaccinations are current. Dotti gets along with other cats but prefers a dog-free environment. She is friendly and approachable with those she trusts.
About Dotti
Dotti is cautious at first but warms up to familiar faces. She’s fine with being picked up if she trusts you, though she’d rather not be carried for long. Dotti will sit in your lap for brief periods to be petted or brushed, but usually prefers parking herself right next to you instead. Around strangers or loud, energetic children, she tends to hide. Most of the time she’s pretty quiet; only at mealtime does she really speak up, reminding you not to be late. Born in April 2020, Dotti is a classic calico with short hair who loves gazing at birds and playing independently or with interactive toys. She’s low-key with most cats and would appreciate a feline friend—she especially enjoys the company of Delilah, another available cat at the rescue. Dotti doesn’t get along with dogs but has plenty of positive cat encounters and has met kids aged eight and up. She’s treat-motivated, uses her scratching post, and is reliably litter trained. She’s looking for a patient adopter who will let her settle and grow at her own pace. If you’re gone for long stretches during the day, consider adopting a second cat so they can keep each other company—two cats tend to be happier and are actually easier than one.
