Meet Callie Callie had been showing up and getting fed by a good person, but she disappeared for five days. When she came back, she was dragging her leg. This went on for a couple of days, and then the woman contacted TRP, and she was able to get her and bring her to the rescue, where we took over her care. Callie went through a series of red light treatments and nerve stimulant treatments, but nothing improved the use of the leg. It was decided to amputate so that she could feel better and have a happy life. Callie is very friendly, and loves to sit in you lap and watch TV with you or lay on your chest for sleeping at night. She loves to chat with you and tell you that she would like some treats. Callie is very food motivated. She is ver agile and can get up on the sofa without assistance and easily goes up and down stairs. One of Callie's favorite things is to get head and ear scratches and face rubs, since with missing one back leg it is hard for her to do for herself.
