Callie
AvailableCallie is a friendly adult female calico cat with tabby stripes and a short, soft coat. She’s medium-sized and lives in Minneapolis, MN. Callie is spayed, house trained, and her vaccinations are current. Despite the amputation of one back leg, she remains agile and affectionate, adapting well to her environment and eager for a loving indoor home.
About Callie
Callie’s resilience stands out as much as her calico coat. After showing up for regular meals with a kind neighbor, Callie vanished and returned with her leg badly injured. Even after red light and nerve therapies, she wasn’t improving, so her leg was amputated. That hasn’t slowed her down at all—Callie navigates stairs like a champ, hops easily onto the sofa, and never lets her missing limb hold her back. She’s the first to make herself comfortable in your lap for a good TV session, and her favorite place to nap is on your chest at night. If you like a chatty cat, you’ll love Callie—especially when treats are involved. She craves head rubs, ear scratches, and gentle face rubs that are tough to do herself these days. Callie gets along well with both dogs and other cats. Despite her start in life, she’s remained outgoing, food motivated, and genuinely happy to be in the middle of things. She’s spayed, microchipped, house trained, and up to date on her vaccinations. Callie is in Minneapolis, MN and is ready for a bright future. Click apply to start the adoption process.
