About Casey
Casey is a Miniature Pinscher and Chihuahua mix who came to rescue when her owner lost their home. At 8 years old and just 8 lbs, she's slim and petite, with long legs that make her look like a natural model. Her brindle coat and sharp features turn heads in photos, but it’s her personality that wins people over. Casey gets along with other animals and is making good progress on both house and crate training. She loves toys and dashing around the yard but is just as content to snuggle once she gets to know you. Casey becomes very attached to her favorite person and has plenty of love to give. She’s social, playful, and ready to find a home where someone feels just as devoted to her. A fenced yard is required to keep her safe, and all current pets in the home must be up to date on their vaccinations. Casey is available for adoption in the Wichita and Topeka area of Kansas. Questions about Casey
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Casey's Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix heritage means she does well in a home setting—apartment or house—especially where she can bond closely with her people and have access to secure outdoor space.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
A small, secure yard is ideal for Casey's breed mix. She’s active and enjoys running around, but doesn't need a ton of acreage as long as she gets daily exercise.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mixes like Casey often do well with older, gentle children who respect their space. Their small size means they may be best in homes without very young kids.
